                Interested in bear hunting but unsure where to start? Look no further. Little Two Heart Bear Guide Services is a family run business located in Newberry, Michigan. Kip Cameron started hunting this area as a child and developed a love for it. He has now been running this guide service for 50+ years. 

The location is ideal for bear hunting as the camp sits on the banks of the Little Two Heart River. Our biggest bear to date was 600 pounds; an average bear is about 135-150 pounds. There are three different time frames for hunting running from September - October.  You can use bow or gun for any of the hunts. We have had success with all three hunts it just depends on what you are looking for.  

It is very important to note that the application process begins in May, and you are notified end of June. Be sure to select one of the three time slots for the Newberry location.  Permits are limited, and dates can vary depending on the DNR guidelines as they are subject to change.  

At Little Two Heart Bear Guide Service, we offer both guides; you can choose to complete a bait hunt or a hound hunt. You can even do the best of both worlds and do a combined hunt. Whatever excitement you are looking for; we can accommodate. The hunts range from 3-5 days; extended time can be added for an additional fee and varies on availability.
